The third eye is not a physical organ but a tool of perception

The third eye is not a physical organ but a tool of perception that transcends the physical realm and ordinary senses. It represents the burning away of ignorance and illusions.

There are two paths to opening the third eye.

1.          One completely burns away the individual ego, thoughts, emotions, relationships, and attachments. This inner vacuum creates a suction effect that naturally draws the door to the third eye inward, causing it to open. It is a state of profound dissolution of ignorance.

2.          One suppresses all expressions of thoughts, opinions, or emotions, holding everything within. This builds up extreme internal pressure until the door to the third eye is forced open from the inside. This path entails great torment and can lead to intense negative experiences or cause the eye to close again because the system is overwhelmed by the sheer force.

Physical eyes are influenced—or "contaminated"—by karma and sensory illusions, whereas the third eye is completely unblemished and sees things as they truly are. It enables perception beyond conventional logic and the senses, leading to a profound, unshakable clarity.
