Healers - what do I think about them?
Illness—whether physical or mental—is often the result of accumulated karma or serves as a crucial warning signal from the body. If a healer attempts to simply eliminate this symptom through energetic manipulation, the root cause remains unaddressed. The problem rarely disappears permanently; instead, it tends to resurface later—elsewhere or in a different, often more severe, form.
Healers who manipulate external energies without fully comprehending the nature of existence often harm themselves.
Unknowingly, they absorb the patient's negative energies or karma, integrating them into their own systems.
Healers deplete their own life energy (prana) uncontrollably, leading to long-term physical and psychological exhaustion.
I would point out that the current popularity of healers often stems from a societal lack of human closeness and deep connection. Many people seek out healers because they crave care and physical touch—things that medical machinery cannot provide. Some individuals even unconsciously fall ill repeatedly just to receive this attention.
I strictly warn against misusing the energy gained through yoga and spiritual practices (sadhana) for the purpose of healing others. Those who do so without a deep, multidimensional understanding block their own spiritual growth and risk exclusion from the spiritual process, as the practice is simply dangerous for one's own energy system.
Rather than relying on external spiritual healers or becoming one oneself, I advocate for self-reliance and inner transformation. Through well-founded yogic practices such as Kriya Yoga, individuals are to be enabled to cultivate and balance their own energies in such a way that the body maintains its own health from within.
